Crossing Borders:
Lasers in Physics, Chemistry and Biology

30-31 May 2002

Laser Centre Vrije Universiteit

Amsterdam, The Netherlands

  Coinciding with

Netherlands Quantum Electronics Day (31 May 2002)

On the occasion of 10 years Laser Centre Vrije Universiteit (LCVU), Amsterdam, we would like to invite

you to a two-day festive symposium on 30-31 May 2002 in Amsterdam. The symposium coincides with

the Netherlands Quantum Electronics Day on 31 May 2002, organized this year by the LCVU.

The symposium also coincides with the LCVU European Large Scale Facility users meeting.

The symposium intends to give a broad perspective on the application of lasers in emerging and

interdisciplinary fields in physics, chemistry and biology. Lasers can cross thousands of kilometers,

but even more exciting is how lasers cross many physical and disciplinary borders and link researchers

to combine their mutual expertise in new challenging discoveries. We hope to see you in Amsterdam!
